Daywalks from our private lodge in the stunning central Pyrenees
The central Pyrenees has proved to be one of our most popular destinations for over 15 years, with many people going back time and again. Our home here is La Feniere, a walker's lodge, offering simple but comfortable chalet-style accommodation, and excellent access to superb mountain walking. It is hard to get tired of the dramatic scenery of the main Pyrenean ridge that forms the border between France and Spain, with glacier-clad Pico Aneto, highest in the range, forming the backdrop to this area of spectacular views. Our flexible programme of five daywalks will include the summits and ridges of the lower hills, as well as forays into the high peaks, towards glacial lakes and more rugged terrain.
