At Lake Naivasha, there's plenty of time to take in the beauty of the lake, admire its abundant birdlife and maybe even see some hippos. | | Day 3 | Lake Nakuru | From the shores of Lake Nakuru, look upon one of the most iconic images of Africa - thousands of pink flamingos frolicking in the water. Sightings of leopards, baboons and giraffes are likely on game drives through the park. | | Days 4-5 | Lake Bogoria/Kerio Valley | Pass spouting geysers and bubbling geothermal pools travelling through the Lake Bogoria National Reserve. Listen out for the distinctive call of African fish-eagles before continuing on to the scenic farmlands of Kerio Valley. | | Days 6-7 | Kakamega Forest Reserve | Once part of the rainforest belt spanning the girth of Africa, this relatively small patch is all that remains. Be guided beneath the canopy of age-old trees and feast your senses on the exotic sights and sounds of this incredible eco-system. | | Days 8-9 | Kendu Bay Village | Stay among the friendly Luo tribe on a local homestay.
