The majority of passenger freighters have age limits between 70 and 79.

Recently, we have had enquiries about passenger freighter voyages for folks in their 80’s and in good health.

Grimaldi offers passenger freighter service to passengers up to age 89 as long as they can submit a good health and physical condition report from a physician.

The itineraries are not all that convenient in that they do not sail to North America but it is a possibility that should be examined. These are mainly ro/ro ships carrying vehicles as well as passengers.
