Independent travelers prefer the flexibility, freedom and independence and the enhanced travel experience our trips offer instead of independent travel to the large group tour lodges. Our trips provide individual travelers with their own guide for private hikes or travelers may hike on their own with our vehicle support. These services must be requested with the reservation. Dining room seating may be at tables for 2 or 4 persons. The 5 day "Uno Lodge Special" below caters to independent travelers and may be custom designed to also include independent travel to Urique, Batopilas, Cusarare, etc. Travelers may reserve other destinations on their own or they may request a quote from us.

Avoid mass tourism: our private lodges average 6 to 12 travelers whereas the lodges in the Divisadero-Posada Barrancas area have paved highway access with hundreds of guests in the area, motorcoach groups, day tours from Creel, groups in Rv's, market vendors, tourists in private vehicles, 2 scheduled bus lines with multiple daily buses, etc.
