Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Covering an area of 331 sq. km, it is one of the largest natural forests in East Africa. It is located in SW of Uganda on the edge of the western rift valley.

The park boasts about 600 Mountain Gorillas, and about nine other species of primates including chimpanzee, blue monkey, L'hoest's monkey, red tail monkey, black and white colobus, potto, Demidoff's and needle-clawed galago. Also, there are more than 350 species of birds, and about 200 species of butterflies.


Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Covering an area of about 36sq. km, Mgahinga Gorilla is the smallest National Park in Uganda. It is located in the far SW of the country.

The park boasts a variety number of animal species including gorilla, rare golden monkey, bufallo, elephant, leopard, and serval cat. Also, there are about 180 species of birds.

Gorilla trekking in this park is available only when the gorilla are in the park. Usually, they reside in the months of April, May, June, October, November, and December. The rest of the year they are in the Congo side.


Queen Elizabeth National Park
The park is famous for its 500 species of birds that include kingfishers, falcons, and eagles. It also boasts an island that provides sanctuary to chimpanzees who have been orphaned or freed from zoos.

The park is also, a home to tree-climbing lions, elephant, hippos, buffalos, antelopes, baboons, and chimpanzee


Murchison Falls National Park
Covering an area of 4000 sq. km, Murchison is the largest National Park in Uganda.

The park is the home to leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, hartebeests, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees, and many bird species.

No visit to Murchison Falls would be complete without a visit to the magnificent Falls. They can be viewed from the top where the Nile River narrows from 50 meters to crash through a 7 meters gorge, falling 45 meters to the rocks below. The three-hour cruise to the base of the falls is also unforgettable. One can experience the majesty of the Nile while onboard, viewing abundant wildlife along the banks.
