Discover Malta
The Maltese Islands have been described as one big open-air museum. In Malta explore 7000 years of history while living passionately in the present. Wherever you go, the Islands' scenery and architecture provides a spectacular backdrop. The colors are striking. Honey-coloured stone against the deepest of Mediterranean blues. But Malta is no regular museum. Here life is lived to the fullest, so make time for some living history and action.

Visit locations where Oscar-winning blockbusters were filmed or go off the beaten track into ancient villages. Marvel at the fireworks and revelry of the summertime festas and enjoy a packed calendar of events all year round.

Highlights of Malta are Valletta, a World Heritage City, once a fortress home to the Knights, now the Islands' vibrant capital. Picturesque fishing villages like the Marsaxlokk fish market with the riches of the sea on display each Sunday. Don't miss another exciting season at the Manoel Theatre that should suit all tastes, from drama to opera, from dance to pantomime. Experience the drama of winter waves at Gozo's dramatic cliffs. For a tempo and scene change from Malta itself, hop to the sister islands of Gozo and Comino Here, you'll holiday within a holiday and at the most relaxed of Mediterranean paces.
