Ladies, Clean Your Closet and Donate to Dress for Success!

Now is the best time to donate those suites you never wear to Dress for Success!  The Austin Chapter of ASWA has partnered with Robert Half International to collect new or like-new suits for women who cannot afford to purchase one on their own.  The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Dress for Success will accept the following items:

·         Interview-appropriate suits and related separates (the greatest need is for apparel size 14 and up but all suit sizes will be accepted)   

·         Solid color blouses to be worn under suits

·         Career appropriate footwear in brown, black or navy shoes.  All shoes must be closed-toe with no heels higher than 3 inches.  Sizes 8 and up are always in great need.

·         Hosiery and undergarments (particularly in plus sizes)

·         Tote bags, portfolios or briefcases

·         Basic professional accessories (including jewelry, scarves, belts and handbags)

·         Unopened cosmetics suitable for the workplace

·         Coats and outerwear in season
