Friday, October 23, 2009 - "Case Studies by OFCCP:  Lessons Learned from FY09 Cases" is our next presentation at our San Antonio Industry Liaison Group membership meeting.  The presentation will be given by Linda Harris, Senior Compliance Officer from the San Antonio OFCCP District Office. This timely and very informative presentation will cover an actual audit conducted by the OFCCP of DAL Global and will focus on the importance of conducting adverse impact analyses; national origin disparate treatment; how to deal with "employment offers" in your adverse impact analysis and state and federal mandated job requirements.  Assistant OFCCP District Director Frank Minogue will also be a presenter and will address the impact of natural disasters such as Hurrican Katrina on the hiring process and the importance of companies using objective non-discriminatory criteria in making hiring selections.  The meeting will be held at Valero Energy, One Valero Way, San Antonio, TX 78249 and will commence at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m.  RSVP:  Please RSVP to Janie Sanchez via email at jsanchez@west.com or by phone (210) 991-4628 by the end of the day on October 19, 2009.  Lunch will be catered by Valero Energy.  Valero is located by the 1604 access road and next to UTSA.
