Each school group has a purpose such as a band trip, a theater trip, or cheerleader competition, etc. It is necessary to plan the trip for the primary purpose while also providing entertainment for the students and chaperones. A common problem is that the students are under age and limited from participating in certain activities. Discretion is necessary in finding the appropriate entertainment activities for the students. Entertainment must be provided which is appropriate yet provides sufficient interest for the students. Often special security or chaperoning arrangements must be made. Parental consent forms must be obtained and appropriate supervision must be provided at all times.
