The Florida Association of Private Investigators (FAPI) is proud to announce the plans for the FAPI 2008 Conference!   We have compiled a slate of very fine and exciting speakers.

FAPI and Roger Gibson, U.S. Marshall (Ret.) have teamed to provide the class “Skip Tracing in Florida” on Wednesday, September 17th at the same resort.  Roger Gibson normally charges $339.00 for this class but he is making it available to FAPI members and their associates at a much reduced rate. For members the class will cost $120.00 and non-members will be $170.00 and include a one year FAPI membership.  A portion of the revenue from this class will be donated back to FAPI.

Knowing your subject matter.  What is in and attached to a mortgage foreclosure file. Being aware of your competition.  What they are doing to get your clients. What to do to get theirs.  How to keep your client & make them happy.

10:45 A.M. Opening a case.  What you need to start working immediately. Do you have the subjects social security number.  We don't need no stinking social security number.  Now you will learn how to get this number. What databases do we use first.  A list of the things that need to be searched before you can send a ADiligent Search & Inquiry Affidavit. Filling out an affidavit. The importance of being accurate, truthful, and honest about the affidavit. Who gets this affidavit. What's an Ad Litem and what do they do. Talking to the subject or a relative or a neighbor.  What can you say. How do you identify yourself when first speaking with them. Using a recorder to save yourself aggravation legally.
