The 16th Century ex-convent of Santa Catalina is one of the colonial jewels in the city of Oaxaca. Today, it is the Camino Real Oaxaca, a haven where tradition and modern features have been combined. Each of the 91 rooms and suites look out either to the lovely interior gardens or to the picturesque street. High walls, 400-year old frescoes, soft fountains, and flowering gardens provide a restful and magnificent atmosphere.
