Cloud Nine was busy checking hotels for our clients this winter. We had indepth site inspections in Aruba of the Hyatt, brand new RIU, Westin, and the charming Bucutti, still owned by the same lovely gentleman.
In March, we inspected hotels in Cancun; Paradisus Riveria Maya, Excellence (adults only) Club Med Cancun(fabulous for couple or families with a kids program).
April brought us to Antigua where we were invited to stay at the intimate Curtin Bluff, where the owner was most gracious and hosted a lovely cocktail party at her home on the hill. We also inspected Sandals, Antigua with the new Mediterranian Village. Then on to Carlyle Bay, an upscale intimate resort, with beautiful suites with huge bathrooms and your own lanai to lounge and watch the ocean. OUr hosts were gracious an we toured the resort (a great kids program) and the family suites in a seperate area. Very secluded beach and you dine at the watersedge. Antigua tourism also showed us St James Club, which has been here for many years, and an old standard.
