There is no better place in the Med for a family holiday with a difference than the Turquoise Coast of Turkey. The sea is clear, the countryside is full of charming villages and crumbling ruins, and the mountains are green and cool. Our base, the port town of Kas (pronounced "cash"), has not succumbed to mass tourism, but does have a good choice of family friendly restaurants and cafés, ideal for relaxation after an active day. Kas has plenty of terraced swimming spots and a short drive or boat trip will take us to some lovely beaches.Booking your activities:Most of the above activities are optional. When you book, please specify the number of days you want activities using the table of codes and prices below. On arrival in Kas you will be asked to specify which activities you want to take part in. Itinerary:

Day 1 Start Kas. 2 Tuesday - Boat trip to Limanagzi. 3 Wednesday - Saklikent Canyon and Patara Beach. 4 Thursday - Diving day. 5 Friday - Morning: weekly town market. Afternoon: visit mountain village (included in cost of holiday). 6 Saturday - Return from mountain village. 7 Sunday - Sea kayaking at Kekova. 8 Monday - End Kas.

Mode of travel: Flights direct to Dalaman with Thomson Airways.. Transfers Dalaman to Kas (2.5 hours) shared bus transfer. Supplements may be payable for separate transfers.
Group size: Min. 2, plus leader and appropriate local staff.
Accommodation: Oreo Hotel, KasOur home for the week is the newly refurbished Oreo Hotel in Kas. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, A/C and a balcony. There is an excellent pool area and restaurant/bar. The hotel is located a little way uphill, giving fine views of the town and bay of Kas. A 10 minute walk takes us to the restaurants and harbour.
Food: Breakfast included throughout and 1 dinner. Some excursions include lunch.
