Discover the wonders of New England on this 7-day vacation. Start your journey in "Beantown." Visit historical sites such as Paul Revere's House, the USS Constitution, and Boston Common. Explore the Freedom Trail, shop at Quincy Market, and consider a cruise on Boston Harbor. Head north to Vermont. Enjoy the Green Mountains as you journey to Stowe, a historic village nestled beside Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak. Take a scenic cruise on Lake Champlain, visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, or simply enjoy a relaxing stroll along the Stowe Recreation Path. Also consider a tour of the nearby Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream factory. Travel east to New Hampshire and the beautiful White Mountains. Perhaps take a train ride up the side of Mount Washington for an unforgettable experience on some of the steepest railway tracks in the world, or take a more relaxing ride through Mount Washington Valley. Newport is known for its picturesque scenery and history. Enjoy a walk around the Newport waterfront area and explore the charming boutiqes, antique shops, and restaurants. Perhaps take the scenic Ten Mile Drive, where you can visit one of the many historic mansions in the area, displaying elegant architecture, interior design, and landscaping.
