Two-night stays in Rome, Florence, Lake Maggiore**, Venice, and Sorrento, plus one night in St. Francis' Assisi offer plenty of time to visit the main sights with a Local Guide. Discover St. Peter's, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, Michelangelo's David, St. Mark's, Doges' Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. Also stop to see Pisa's Leaning Tower, in vibrant Milan, in Switzerland's subtopical Lugano, in Romeo & Juliet's Verona, and in Ravenna to visit the Basilica of St. Apollinaris of Classe. From Sorrento, visit Pompeii at the foot of Mount Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri, including a jetfoil ride and a funicular ride to Capri village. Extend your vacationin Sorrento for 5 nights. A leisurely break to stroll along the lake, window-shop the refined Via Nassa, or sip an espresso on the Piazza Riforma. Next, a scenic drive along Lake Maggiore, one of Italy's most beautiful areas. Spend two nights at your elegant resort. Few locations in the world match the special charm of Sorrento. Air booked in conjunction with a land vacation is considered an air-inclusive vacation. Air can only be booked by Globus in conjunction with a land package and is only available for passengers traveling from the United States. For vacation departures in 2010, your final air-inclusive vacation price is guaranteed when your air schedule had been confirmed and your entire vacation package has been paid in full. For vacation departures in 2010, an additional $250 non-refundable deposit (total $500 non-refundable) is required for air booked in conjunction with any land vacation and your final air-inclusive vacation price is guaranteed when your flight information is confirmed and Globus has received your full land and air deposit.
