After breakfast this morning we join our local guide for a walking tour of the Old Town where we seeWavel Castle and the Mariacki Church. We also visit the Shrine of Divine Mercy, where St. Faustina began
experiencing the visions of Jesus that she faithfully documented in her diary. Pope John Paul II instituted the Feast Day of Divine Mercy after the canonization of St. Faustina. This afternoon is free for exploration or

Today we travel toWadowice, the birthplace and childhood home of Karol Wojtyla, who later became Pope John Paul II.Afterwards, visit Kalwaria Zebrzydowska - a UNESCO Heritage Site and also one of Poland's most famous shrines.There is time afterward for personal reflection. After departing Krakow this morning, our day begins on a more sombre noteas we visit one of the world's most infamous former concentration camps - Auschwitz. See in person this chilling reminder of the atrocities of the Holocaust. We continue to one of the world's most famous Marian Shrines,
Czestochowa,where we shall visit the Shrine and see the famous Black Madonna if it is available for viewing. After our visit,we travel toWarsaw. (Breakfast)

This morning our local guide shows us the miracles of the reconstruction and conservation of the city. Our tour reveals the historic center where much of the Old Town was rebuilt after the war.We see the site of
theWarsaw Ghetto so shockingly evoked in Polanski's recent film "The Pianist" and also visit the Cathedral of St. John. This afternoon why not visit theWilanow Palace, residence of the former King of

This morning we enjoy an excursion to Niepokalanow (City of the Immaculate) where we shall visit the Franciscan Friary. It was founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe, a friar who in 1941 volunteered to die in
place of a stranger in Auschwitz and was later canonized by Pope John Paul II. Some time for personal
