Relive those days by taking a journey on a dhow between the islands. Lamu is also a beach stop - a place for swimming in the warm tropical waters or just relaxing on the beach. 1 Arrive in Manda Island Airport and transfer to Lamu Island by boat. Transfer by vehicle to local guesthouse.2-3 Wander past buildings constructed in the 14th century as you explore the museums, fort and main square. Take a swim at Shela or Manda Beach, or experience a traditional dhow sailing trip (optional).4 Transfer back to Lamu pier and then by boat to Manda Island Airport where tour ends on arrival.
