Journey from Puerto Natales in warm and ambient comfort aboard the Skorpios III. Cruise through the fjords and channels of Chilean Patagonia, and encounter the Southern Ice Field, home to biggest and most spectacular glaciers in the southern hemisphere. These same waters were explored by such legendary explorers as Ladrillero, Darwin, and Fitz Roy. The gorgeous scenery is marked by mountains jutting straight out of the sea. It is a labyrinth of beauty, covered in forest and abundant with marine and bird life. The stunning landscape was sculpted by the area's many glaciers, including the Pio XI Glacier, the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Passengers take excursions aboard safe motorboats to have a truly up-close encounter with these glaciers, complete with the traditional whiskey toast in a glass with millennium old ice. The Skorpios III was conceived under the "Super Class" concept. Cabins are elegant and spacious and include luxurious private bathrooms. Decks, salons, and dining rooms adorned with English decor and classical style provide ample space to stretch-out, admire the view, and simply relax. Passengers indulge in finely prepared meals and a variety of Chilean wines that have been exclusively selected for the route.
