    Day 1CochinArrival Cochin: On arrival at Cochin - the queen of Arabian Sea, our representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Cochin is truly a museum city. Over the years, Cochin has emerged as the commercial and industrial capital of Kerala and is perhaps the second most important city on the west coast of India (after Mumbai/Bombay). Cochin was an important spice-trading center on the Arabian Sea coast from the 14th century onwards. It was the first European colonial settlement in India. First Portuguese followed by Dutch and British ruled over here till 19th century.
    Day 2CochinCochin B,: Today's sightseeing highlights include: 'The Jewish Synagogue' at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town, 'The St. Francis Church', the oldest European Church in India, 'The Santa Cruz Basilica' originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese, The Dutch Palace, Spice market at the narrow streets and the 'Chinese fishing nets' - huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Return to hotel for lunch and later in the evening enjoy the famous dance drama of Kerala, the "Kathakali". This dance can be characterized by grotesque gesticulations, amazing costumes and very extensive make-up. The stories are mostly taken from the epics Mahabharatha and Ramayana. Overnight at Cochin.
    Day 3PeriyarCochin To Periyar B,: After breakfast, you will be drive to Periyar - one of the well-known wildlife sanctuaries of South India. It is especially famous for elephants. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaiperiyar dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. On arrival check into hotel. Overnight at Periyar.
    Day 4PeriyarPeriyar B,: In the morning, you will take a boat ride and then visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. On your way back to the hotel, you can stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at Periyar.
    Day 5AlleppeyPeriyar To Alleppey B,: After breakfast, you will be drive to Alleppey - Known as the Venice of the East. On arrival check into a traditional House Boat of Kerala Style. Cruise through the backwaters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Overnight at Houseboat.
    Day 6KovalamAlleppey To Kovalam B,: On arrival at Alleppey boat jetty, switch over to car and be driven to Kovalam. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in at a beach resort. Rest of the day to relax at the beach or indulge in Ayurvedic massages. Kovalam is a sheltered bay endowed with unusual beauty, located on the magnificent Arabian Sea coast. This natural bay is a safe sea-pool, free from high waves and surges. It is an ideal place to swim, sunbathe and perhaps enjoy the ancient rites of an Ayurvedic massage and oil bath. Overnight at Kovalam.
