After a warm welcome from our Tour Director, we drive through the beautiful Kent countryside to Dover. Here we board our ferry for the short sea crossing to Calais in France. Today's journey takes us into Germany, where the tranquil scenery of medieval cafestles and hillside vineyards drift by on our leisurely Rhine cruise. We see the Lorelei Rock before heading to Wurzburg in Bavaria. On our arrival we will admire the view over the city from a vantage point before making our way to the hotel. This morning we leave the Czech Republic behind as we make our way to Austria via the medieval town of Brno. Then we cross the border and soon arrive in Vienna. (Buffet breakfast)

We see vistas of ancient cafestles, mountains and lakes as we leave the Danube Plains. We travel

Today we drive past beautiful Lake Como as we enter into Switzerland, where we cross the lake of Lugano. Then through the Gotthard range and spectacular snow-capped Alps into German-speaking Switzerland where we descend to beautiful lakeside Lucerne where orientation highlights the Lion Monument and the medieval old town. Then time to perhaps shop for jewellery, watches or chocolates or to ascend a nearby mountain by railway and cable car. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
