    DayDestinationDescription
    Day 1LuxorArrive at Luxor International Airport and transfer to a hotel (Sonesta Luxor or Steigenberger Luxor or similar) where you will spend the night.
    Day 2West BankAfter breakfast at the hotel transfer to the Moon Goddess and embark the vessel. Visit Karnak in the morning, a vast complex of temples, chapels and other buildings that was developed over a period of more than 1300 years, and the world's largest ancient religious site. After lunch you will cross the Nile and explore the Valley of the Kings which stands on the West Bank of the Nile and is home to the tombs of the Theban rulers. Next, tour the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, the only woman pharaoh to reign in the New Kingdom, before moving on to Colossi of Memnon and Luxor Temple. After a full day of exploring the treasures of the ancient world you will reboard the vessel where you can relax during afternoon tea. In the evening, be treated to a wonderful dinner and Belly Dance Show. The Moon Goddess sets sail for Edfu tonight.
    Day 3EdfuSpend today relaxing on board and watch Egypt's ancient history unfold before your eyes as you cruise along the majestic Nile. In the evening a special Captain's Welcome Cocktail will be held and followed by dinner. Overnight in Edfu.
    Day 4AswanEnjoy breakfast on board before visiting the Temple of Horus, considered the best-preserved temple in Egypt and one of the finest examples of pharaonic architecture existing today. Return to the vessel and continue sailing for Kom Ombo while lunch is served on board. Upon arrival you will go ashore to tour the Kom Ombo temple complex, which comprises two temples dedicated to the gods Sobek (the Crocodile God) and Haroeris. (Horus the Elder). In ancient times, crocodiles could be seen basking on the banks of the river here. Reboard the Moon Goddess and sail to your final destination, Aswan, while enjoying afternoon tea on board. Tonight dinner will be followed by a fun Galabya costume party. Overnight in Aswan.
    Day 5AswanThis morning you will visit the High Dam. Started in 1960 and completed ten years later, the construction of this dam has saved Egypt and its heritage from flooding. Afterwards you will tour Philae Temple, which contains beautiful shrines and sanctuaries dedicated to the Goddess Isis. Return to ship for lunch and sail on a felucca around Kitchener's Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum in the afternoon. Dinner will be held on board and followed by a traditional Nubian Folklore Show. Overnight in Aswan.
    Day 6AswanDisembark the Moon Goddess after breakfast.
