We were disappointed that they scheduled our St. Maarten stop on Christmas day, knowing that by law the stores had to close (and they had 5 ships in port). There were stores open at the pier, but you did not have your usual interesting stores.
The concierge room was small and packed so being able to go there was not a plus - and the concierge (Alan) was young and not as personable as what you usually see in a concierge on RCCL. (Loyalty/suite holders were not rewarded with concierge service.)
Activities on board were plentiful and enjoyed by our entire family - from teenagers to grandparents! The ice shows were phenomenal as well as guest entertainers, RCCL singers & dancers and the parades down the promenade.
Food was excellent with great choices every night.
We had one of the best ever cruise directors - Abe from Nebraska. He was very knowledgeable, witty and very, very personable.
We definitely will look at the Mariner's schedule for future cruises. |
