Our singles weekend at the all-inclusive Gran Caribe Real Cancun offers a variety of activities in a totally relaxed, yet active environment. By day, two pools (one active pool with shallow water shelves for lounge chairs one for relaxing with an adjacent Jacuzzi), are the center for fun and games. By night, don't miss the stage shows in the air-conditioned theatre.
 

Fun & Games
Daily activities include cooking classes, Spanish lessons, bingo, handicrafts, athletic competitions and beachcombing up and down adjacent beach areas.

The health and wellness center includes a spa with sauna, steam room, a well-equipped fitness center and aerobics area. Massage therapies are available for an additional charge.

Singles will also enjoy tennis, racquetball, bocce, ping-pong, shuffleboard, horseshoes and an outdoor maze.

Cancun has two 18-hole golf courses nearby. Guests receive discounts at nearby Pok-ta-Pok golf course. Singles should inquire at guest services at the hotel about arranging tee times.

Water Sports
A water sports center at the hotel arranges rentals of snorkeling gear, boogie boards, jet skis, windsurfers, motor boats, and Hobie Cat sailboats and can also book diving and snorkeling lessons and trips. Parasailing and Skyrider flights can also be arranged.

The Gran Caribe Real offers a variety of spectacular shows every night in an air-conditioned theatre. Shows are performed by the resort's sports and entertainment team.

  Chichen Itza is the most famous site in Mundo Maya (Maya World). It was built between 415 and 432 A.D. and was inhabited until 1204 A.D., when it was abandoned. This is the capital of the ancient Maya and is considered by archaeologists to be one of the most advanced civilizations in America. This mysterious city was an important ceremonial centre. You will see the magnificent pyramid of Kukulkan (75 feet high), the Temple of the Warriors, the Ball Court, the Observatory and the Sacred Well, the place where countless victims were sacrificed to the ancient gods.

  Xcaret is an experience for all your senses. It is named after the ancient Maya word for 'little inlet' and was one of the most important cultural ports and a revered ceremonial centre. You will immerse yourself in tradition, nature, wonder, adventure and beauty. You can enjoy the underground river, the Maya river, the coral reef aquarium, the aviary, the mushroom farm, a tropical jungle walk, the equestrian show and the spectacular night show, an event where you will be brought to the roots of traditions, finished with a colorful show of dances from various regions of Mexico. After a full day with plenty of activities we return to Cancun. Optional activities are available at extra charge such as: swimming with dolphins, horseback riding and snorkeling tours to the reef.

  Albatros is the casual restaurant located right above the pool area, combining buffets, a la carte and show cooking. The Albatros Restaurant overlooks the beach and the pool, commanding amazing views of the azure Caribbean Sea and the white sand beach.
  
  The Health, Sushi & Snack Bar is located poolside, overlooking the ocean. A marvelous alternative for our health conscious guests serving innovative light fare with Japanese influences, a great variety of mouth-watering refreshing non-alcoholic beverages and a wide range of exotic juices with Caribbean accents.
