Day 1: Sydney-Canberra
Travel today from Sydney to Canberra. Today's highlights include barbecue lunch, sheep shearing demonstration, a city tour of Canberra and a guided tour of Parliament House. This evening, enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director. Overnight: Canberra, Olims Hotel (L,D)
Day 2: Snowy Mountains
Our highlights today include stunning mountain scenery in Kosciuszko National Park. We also enjoy a journey along the picturesque Alpine Way to Beechworth. Overnight: Beechworth, Boutique Country Bed & Breakfast Accommodation (B)
Day 3: Beechworth-Melbourne
Take a sightseeing tour of historic Beechworth. Later, enjoy a wine tasting at the Rutherglen Wine Experience Center, before continuing to Melbourne.
3-Day passengers depart the tour in Melbourne.
Overnight: Melbourne, Citigate for 2 nights (B)
Day 4: Melbourne at Leisure
You have a full day at leisure to explore Melbourne at your own pace. (B)
Day 5: Great Ocean Road
6-Day passengers join the tour today.
Today we experience incredible coastal scenery along the famous Great Ocean Road including the amazing Twelve Apostles, London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge formations. Overnight: Warrnambool, Country Comfort Hotel (B,D)
Day 6: Warnambool -Mt Gambier
Visit Tower Hill State Game Reserve, a native wildlife haven located in a dormant volcano. Continue along the coast and over the border to South Australia into Mt Gambier for a city tour and stop to look at the spectacular and mysterious Blue Lake. Overnight: Mt Gambier, Quality Inn International. (B,D)
Day 7: Mt Gambier -Coorong -Adelaide
Travel to the amazing Coorong National Park and take a guided bush walk with a local Aboriginal guide. Continue on to Adelaide, and enjoy a city tour on arrival. The afternoon is yours to explore the gorgeous "City of Churches." Overnight: Adelaide, Stamford Plaza (B)
Day 8: Adelaide -Kangaroo Island
This morning, journey to the coastal village of Victor Harbor on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Enjoy some free time to explore, before traveling by ferry to Kangaroo Island. Overnight: Kangaroo Island, Aurora Ozone Hotel for 2 nights (B,D)
Day 9: Kangaroo Island
Today we explore Kangaroo Island! At Seal Bay, take a guided tour along the beach among the Australian Sea Lions. Experience more great photo opportunities at the Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch, and do some koala, wallaby and kangaroo spotting at Flinders Chase National Park. (B,L)
Day 10: Depart Adelaide
Cruise by ferry back to Cape Jervis this morning, then on to Adelaide. You'll be transferred to Adelaide airport for your onward flight. (B)
