 Discover the heart of the Italian lakes on this magnificent getaway. Your vacation begins with two nights at picturesque Lake Maggiore. Enjoy free time to relax or join an optional boat trip to the Borromean Islands. Heading east, cross the border into Switzerland for a stop at beautiful Lake Lugano. Stroll along the lakeside promenade, shop on Via Nassa, or explore the Piazza Riforma. Cross back into Italy to arrive at Lake Como, where you'll spend two nights and will enjoy an included boat trip to picture-perfect Bellagio. Continue through the Franciacorta wine-growing area and pause at Lake Iseo and the spa town of Sirmione on your way to lovely Lake Garda at the foot of the Alps. After two overnights, travel south to Romeo & Juliet's Verona, then return to Lake Maggiore for the conclusion of your glorious Italian lakes adventure.

Today, relax and get to know the area or join the included boat trip to Bellagio, which occupies one of the most scenic positions in all of Italy. (B,D) | | Day 6 | Lake Garda | This morning, on the way to Lake Iseo, renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, enjoy vistas of the scenic Franciacorta wine-growing area. Catch the first glimpses of Lake Garda as you stop in Sirmione, the picturesque spa town on the south shore of Lake Garda. Stroll among the many shops and ice cream parlors that line the narrow cobblestone streets. Continue to the northern shore of Lake Garda for an overnight. (B,D) | | Day 7 | Lake Garda | A whole day at leisure to enjoy this beautiful area, situated at the foot of the Alps and surrounded by mountains to the north and the gentle slopes of moraine hills to the south. Air booked in conjunction with a land vacation is considered an air-inclusive vacation. Air can only be booked by Globus in conjunction with a land package and is only available for passengers traveling from the United States. For vacation departures in 2010, your final air-inclusive vacation price is guaranteed when your air schedule had been confirmed and your entire vacation package has been paid in full. For vacation departures in 2009, an additional $250 non-refundable deposit (total $500 non-refundable) is required for air booked in conjunction with any land vacation and your final air-inclusive vacation price is guaranteed when your flight information is confirmed and Globus has received your full land and air deposit.
