| Day 1 | Anchorage | Anchorage: After we transport you to your hotel, explore Alaska's largest city and get your vacation in Alaska off to the perfect start. Overnight Anchorage. |
| Day 2 | Talkeetna | Anchorage - Talkeetna: We'll take you on a motor coach journey to Talkeetna, the quirky town that inspired the TV show "Northern Exposure." It's near here that you'll spend the night. The Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge boasts a spacious deck and some of the region's most dramatic Mt. McKinley views. Flightseeing is particularly enticing because of the proximity to the "High One" and a variety of tours take full advantage of Mt. McKinley's dramatic scenery. But Talkeetna is also known for great fishing and with three rivers coming together here, there are exciting river rafting and jet boat tours as well. Overnight Talkeetna. |
| Day 3 | Denali | Talkeetna - Denali: Board luxurious glass-domed railcars to continue your journey to Denali National Park. With the Alaska Range on one side and the Talkeetna Range on the other, the views are stunning; if you're fortunate, you'll catch sight of Mt. McKinley through the glass dome of your railcar. You'll arrive early enough to enjoy an optional activity like hiking or fly fishing. Tonight you'll be regaled with a sumptuous dinner and homespun entertainment at our Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre. | Day 4 | Denali | Denali: Watch for big game and other Alaskan wildlife as you explore the rugged terrain of Denali on your Tundra Wilderness Tour. Weather permitting; Mt. McKinley may be visible in its breathtaking splendor from the lookout point at Primrose Ridge. Later, join us on an optional jet boat ride or get behind the wheel of a Jeep for a backcountry safari. Dinner and a horse-drawn covered wagon is one popular evening option. Overnight Denali. |
| Day 5 | Fairbanks | Denali - Fairbanks: Sleep in or wake up early for one last optional tour-golfing or a kennel tour with a sled dog demonstration perhaps? Later, reboard the luxury railcars to continue your journey into Alaska's amazing interior. Transfer to your hotel in Fairbanks upon arrival. Overnight Fairbanks. |
| Day 6 | Fairbanks | Fairbanks: Visit Gold Dredge No. 8 to learn how it worked and have lunch. Pan for gold at El Dorado Gold Camp and learn about modern day gold mining. In the afternoon, board an authentic sternwheeler riverboat and explore the Chena and Tanana rivers. You'll experience Alaska's diverse cultural heritage as you float by log cabins, visit the kennel of an Iditarod champion, and see a bush pilot performance.
