The newest and finest of the Movenpick Nile cruisers went into service in 2006. With 60 tastefully decorated and spacious cabins the ship offers guests every home comfort.

Cabins come with twin beds or one king bed. Cabins are 236 square feet. All tastefully and luxuriously furnished, the cabins come with en suite shower room, benefit from individually controlled air-conditioning and include television, mini-bar, climate-control and telephones that enable international calls via GSM lines. Each room has cable, and color television.

A fully equipped gym is located on the third deck and offers magnificent views while exercising. An array of activities are offered to ensure an unforgettable cruise.

In the true Movenpick tradition of focusing on gastronomic excellence, the expansive Lotus restaurant offers guests lavish gourmet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Travel the world with mouthwatering buffets that feature a different cuisine each day, or choose from the sumptuous ala carte menu.

The large Crescent Lounge and Bar, elegantly decorated in natural hues, is located on the Salon Deck. It features a semicircular bar, a dance area and panoramic windows. This is the venue for our galabeya party and theme nights.

The Observation Bar with its decor of vibrant colors is located on the second deck. The ideal venue to enjoy coffee and cookies at midmorning, afternoon tea or a sunset cocktail while watching the Nile go by. You can check your email at the dedicated Internet corner.

On the Sun Deck an informal bar serves hot and cold beverages and a variety of snacks. Divided into three areas which are stylishly furnished, the deck provides tables and chairs that are shaded by a canopy while around the pool are restful lounges that are perfect for sun worshippers. The third area features a choice of Bedouin style low seating or huge comfortable sofas.

The Royal Lotus offers weekly departures year round.
