Day 1: Alice Springs Town Tour
Arrive in Alice Springs by midday and be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a town tour of "The Alice" including the Old Telegraph Station and Anzac Hill where you have panoramic views of the township and the rugged MacDonnell Ranges. Visit the School of the Air and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Base. Overnight: Alice Springs, All Seasons Alice Springs Oasis (standard), Crowne Plaza (first class), Alice Springs Resort, Rivergum Rooms (deluxe) for 2 nights
Day 2: West MacDonnell Ranges, Desert Park
Discover the West MacDonnell Ranges including Simpsons Gap and Angkerle (Standley Chasm). Return to Alice Springs and visit the renowned Alice Springs Desert Park. (L)
Day 3: Alice Springs-Ayers Rock (Uluru)
Travel to Ayers Rock Resort via a camel farm. Visit the Cultural Center and join the Mutitjulu and Mala walks. Enjoy a glass of wine at Uluru at sunset as the last light of day hits this mighty monolith. Overnight: Ayers Rock Resort, Outback Pioneer Hotel (standard),Desert Gardens Hotel (first class) or Sails in the Desert (deluxe) for 2 nights
Day 4: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), Sounds of Silence Dinner
Rise early to enjoy a desert sunrise at Ayers Rock. Discover Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Tonight, enjoy the unique Sounds of Silence Dinner under the stars in the desert, followed by an astronomy tour of the night sky. This experience is not to be missed! (D).
Day 5: Depart Ayers Rock
Morning at leisure before your transfer to the airport.
