This Art Deco style hotel was designed in the 1920s by the famous architect Marcello Piacentini. It has octagonal-shaped stucco ceiling, lacquered banqueting table and ornate marble lobby. The guestrooms feature rich fabrics in green and gold, Italian linen bedding, very high ceilings, beechwood panelling, matching beech wood furniture, antique chairs, and green marble-topped desks.
