    Day 1Depart USA Depart USA :
    Board your overnight flight. Depending on your flight schedule you may arrive in Lima on Day 1 in the late evening.
    Day 2Tortuguero National Park San Jose - Tortuguero National Park (2 nights) :
    You will be met and transferred to your hotel, where your room is ready for check-in. This afternoon, your vacation begins with a special visit to the "Casa Diez Canseco," the private home of the Diez Canseco family. A guided tour shows you the house, plus you will hear stories of Spanish conquerors and Peruvian Presidents, all family ancestors. Savor a "Be My Guest" home-cooked Peruvian meal before heading out for a city tour. See colonial sights such as the Plaza San Martin, the Cathedral and the Municipal Palace. Then visit the Church of San Francisco, with its unique wooden cupola over the imperial staircafese and underground catacombs. On to Miraflores, full of shops and restaurants. Stop in the district of San Isidro on the way back to the hotel, where the evening is free. (Breakfast / Be My Guest lunch)

    Day 3Sacred Valley Lima - Cuzco - Sacred Valley :
    Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival, head into the beautiful Sacred Valley. Stop at the Pisac Market, where there is time to bargain for Peruvian handicrafts. Then continue on to Ollantaytambo, a typical Inca community. Towering above the town there is the huge Inca fortress, also called Ollantaytambo. Steep stone terraces rising from the edge of the town lead up to the fortress ruins at the top of the hill. There is time to admire the ruins and the town before dinner at your hotel. (Breakfast / Dinner)

    Day 4Machu Picchu Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu :
    Transfer to the train station for your Vistadome Valley train journey to Machu Picchu. "The Lost City of the Incafes" was built about 1450 and abandoned one hundred years later. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, and is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. You will have time to explore the ruins on your own after a guided walking tour. (Breakfast / Dinner)

    On the train to Machu Picchu, only hand luggage can be taken. Your main suitcafese will be transferred to Cuzco and stored.
    Day 5Cuzco Machu Picchu - Cuzco (2 nights) :
    Return to Machu Picchu for last impressions of the magnificent ruins. You are free to stroll at your own pace, or perhaps hike Wayna Picchu. Later, travel by train and coach to Cuzco, where your evening is free. (Breakfast)

    Day 6Cuzco Cuzco :
    Cuzco is a city enveloped in myth and legend. With a history of more than 3,000 years, it is one of the oldest existing cities in the Americafes. Traces of its Incan and Spanish heritage can still be seen today. A morning city tour shows you Cuzco's most important landmarks, including the Inca street of Loreto, which is made of 12 cornered stones, the Temple of the Sun called Ahuajpinta and the Cathedral. Continue on to visit the Inca ruins of Sacsayhuaman, the shrines of Kenqo Tambomachay and more. The afternoon is at leisure. Tonight, relish a Farewell Dinner and folklore show at a local restaurant. (Breakfast / Farewell dinner)
    Day 7Lima Cuzco - Lima :
    Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. The balance of the day is free. (Breakfast)

    Day 8Quito Lima - Quito (2 nights) :
    Fly to Quito. You will be transferred to your hotel, where your evening is free. (Breakfast)

    On a morning tour, see Quito's colonial quarter, a World Heritage Cultural Site. You will also stop at the Equatorial Monument, which marks the middle of the world. Your afternoon is free. (Breakfast)
    Day 10Santa Cruz Island Quito - Baltra Island - Santa Cruz Island :
    Fly to Baltra, one of the remote Galapagos Islands, then transfer to your ship, the M/V Santa Cruz. This afternoon, a panga ride through mangrove swamps reveals boobies, frigates and pelicans. Disembark for an easy hike to Dragon Hill, where you will see land iguanas and a variety of birds. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
    Day 11Santiago Island Bartholome Island - Santiago Island :
    Bartholome Island is best known for its volcanic features. After a short hike, delight in the view. Next, stop in a cove with a chance for snorkeling. Perhaps, ride on a glass bottom boat. This afternoon visit Santiago Island with it's black beach and dramatic rock formations. Keep an eye open for fur sea lions, marine iguanas and oystercatchers. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
    Day 12North Seymour Island Tower Island - North Seymour Island :
    Disembark at Rabida Island for a stroll. Here you can see marine iguanas, sea lions, yellow warblers and more. This afternoon, cruise to North Seymour Island, home to sea lions, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies and frigate birds. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
    Day 13Santa Cruz Island Santa Fe Island - Santa Cruz Island :
    Take a bus ride to the highlands of Santa Cruz to see the island's giant tortoises in their wild habitat. After lunch, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the rearing in captivity program for giant tortoises. Then there is time to browse in the handicraft shops. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
    Day 14Depart Guayaquil San Cristobal Island / Depart Guayaquil :
    Disembark at Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Visit the Interpretation Center that focuses on the history and wildlife of the area. Later fly to Guayaquil to connect with your homebound flight. (Do not schedule your flight before 5 p.m.) (Breakfast)
