2010 THAILAND Teach Program
Introduction

Cultural Embrace's Thailand teach program will allow you to explore one of the world's friendliest and most accommodating countries. It is easy to understand why Thailand has been named the Land of Smiles since there are so many things to grin about in this beautiful country. It is home to some of the best islands, beaches, natural wonders, architecture, monuments, and relics. Additionally, you will taste some of the most savory foods, shop at some of the most colorful markets, and share laughs and stories with some of the friendliest people on the planet. Take advantage of holiday breaks and visit neighboring countries to gain new perspectives from other cultures.
Thailand's education system recognizes the need to improve its English language skills, thus hiring foreign teachers. Teaching positions are some of the most profitable ways to live and travel in this beautiful area. Classroom experience and foreign language knowledge are helpful, but not required.
Teachers are highly respected in the Thai culture, so your working and living conditions are quite comfortable. Expect to teach an average of 20-25 hours a week, with extra time needed to create lesson plans, attend faculty meeting, and extra-curricular activities. Students' age range from elementary to professionals, however, the current demand is primarily for grades 7-12 with varied levels of English.
