LifeStories are personal life histories on DVD that involve face-to-face interviews which include family photos of the past. They represent the best way we know of to capture the essence of an individual’s life and preserve it visually for posterity. It is the ultimate gift of knowledge and life experience passed on from one generation to the next. We may have lived in different times but the common experience shared by each generation in overcoming hardship and obstacles to find our own place in the world is our universal bond.
There are three people involved in the process other than the LifeStories interviewee. An interviewer will prepare the interviewee for the video shoot helping to optimize the experience. They will be your main contact point and source of information. The videographer will do the actual videotaping. Finally the editor will smooth out and blend the raw footage. This will include a life history of personal photos.
There are several goals with a LifeStory. We want to create and capture a living history for the benefit of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Furthermore, we want to provide a video canvass for our customers to frame their legacy and life philosophy in an overall positive and truthful light. Finally, we believe the experience will be an enlightening experience of sorts for you in going back and reviewing one's life from start to present. It is often that our customers identify recurring themes and gain new appreciation and understanding for their own personal journey.
