 Freycinet Kayak Expedition
Paddle into a world of pristine beaches, pink granite mountains and waters so clear you feel you can touch the marine life below. Over 4 days, immerse yourself in the essence of the Freycinet Peninsula on a relaxed guided sea kayaking and walking adventure into the heart of the national park. Discover the feeling of freedom and rejuvenate in the fresh sea air. The "sea level" experience offered by a sea kayak provides a truly unique perspective of this spectacular coastal wilderness. With the advantage of a one-way Aqua Taxi trip, we have more time to explore the Peninsula, with plenty of time for walking, swimming and relaxing. Our trips are about good times, not hard work. Highlights Freycinet National ParkItinerary:Day 1 (Sat) Arrive in Hobart, transfer to Coles Bay for safety briefing and gear check. Start paddling through the amazing scenery of Freycinet. 2-3 Kayak to the southern reaches of the peninsula and magnificent Schouten Island (weather permitting) with plenty of opportunity to explore the pink granite coastline punctuated by the pristine white sand beaches.4 Unwind, swim, snorkel and simply soak up the fresh sea air of the Freycinet Peninsula. In the afternoon we return to Coles Bay by Aqua Taxi. After a shower and freshen up we transfer back to Hobart where trip ends (Tue). Included: Experienced and qualified wilderness kayak guide, all kayaking equipment including stable double kayak, aqua taxi shuttle, transfers from/to Hobart, national park fees. Not Included: Flights, departure taxes, visas, travel insurance, other meals and drinks, additional activities during free time, tips and items of a personal nature. Meals: 3 breakfasts,4 lunches,3 dinners Notes: Weather As we operate in the outdoors, adverse weather conditions may affect our adventures. Trips may experience day/s where paddling is not possible, on these days, we explore the coastal wilderness by foot or undertake alternative activities.
