| Day 4 | Bath | London - Salisbury - Bath : Greetings from our Tour Director as we travel to see the ancient monoliths of Stonehenge. In Salisbury we view the cathedral, which has the tallest spire in England, before continuing on to the city of Bath, which is renowned for its Georgian architecture. | Day 5 | Exeter | Bath - Wells - Exeter (2 nights) : Today we drive to nearby Cheddar Gorge to admire its rugged beauty. Then a stop at Wells, with its awe-inspiring cathedral. We continue our journey through Thomas Hardy's Wessex to Exeter, the county town of Devon, founded by the Celts. (Full breakfast) Hotel: Jurys Inn |
| Day 6 | Devon and Cornwall | Devon and Cornwall excursion : A full day excursion begins as we skirt Dartmoor to reach Plymouth where you will have the chance to take a boat trip around the harbor. Then we continue to Marazion where we see St. Michael's Mount before heading north to the Atlantic coast of Cornwall and the artists' colony of St. Ives. After an amazing, scenic day we return to our hotel in Exeter for dinner and overnight stay. (Full breakfast / Dinner) |
| Day 7 | Cardiff | Exeter - Cardiff : We drive through the beautiful county of Somerset, renowned for its rough cider known as scrumpy, and on to the port of Bristol to see the impressive suspension bridge designed by Brunel. | Day 8 | Waterford | Cardiff - Waterford : Orientation of the capital of Wales shows us the cafestle, the Millennium Stadium and Cardiff we board our ferry across the Irish Sea to Rosslare. From here we head by coach to Waterford, home of the famous crystal, and our hotel. (Full breakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Waterford Marina |
| Day 9 | Tralee | Waterford - Cork - Tralee : After breakfast we drive via Cork, stopping to visit Blarney Castle with a chance to acquire the "gift of the gab". From here we travel into County Kerry and down Dingle Bay to Waterville where we start to enjoy the stunning scenery of the famous Ring of Kerry drive. (Full breakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Abbey Gate |
| Day 10 | Limerick | Tralee - Limerick : A succession of mountains, bays and pretty towns brings us to the lakes of Killarney before we stop in Killarney itself. | Day 13 | Chester Area | Dublin - Chester area : We take the ferry to Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey. Enjoy the scenery of the North Wales coastline as we skirt Snowdonia National Park. | Day 15 | Edinburgh | Edinburgh sightseeing : Our morning sightseeing tour shows us Princes Street, the Royal Mile and views of the cafestle. Then time to perhaps visit Holyrood House or the Grassmarket. This evening, you have the option of a night out with Highland dancing and bagpipes. (full breakfast) |
| Day 16 | Highlands | Edinburgh - Highlands : Today's journey takes us towards the Fife Coast to see St. Andrews, home of the famous golf course and the university, which Prince William attended recently. | Day 17 | Glasgow | Highlands - Glasgow : We drive via Inverness and along the shores of Loch Ness passing Ben Nevis - Britain's highest mountain. Then on to notorious Glencoe, where the Macdonalds met their doom at the hands of the Campbells. Finally, we continue to Loch Lomond's bonnie banks before reaching our hotel near Glasgow. | Day 18 | Leeds | Glasgow - York - Leeds : Orientation in Glasgow shows us the cathedral and George Square. Then we enjoy a scenic drive to Moffat Woollens, make a picture stop at Hadrian's Wall, before arriving in Viking York to see the Minster and stroll along the medieval Shambles. | Day 19 | London | Leeds - Coventry - Stratford-upon-Avon - London : We drive to Coventry to view the old and new cathedrals.
