Welcome to Germany! Late this afternoon, we enjoy an orientation tour of Frankfurt including medieval Romerplatz. Later we enjoy a Welcome Drink with our Tour Director.

This morning we take a relaxing Rhine Cruise from St. Goar to Boppard, as we rejoin our coach we drive past Bonn, Beethoven's birthplace. Then we continue to Cologne to see its gothic cathedral, before reaching our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Today we drive into Lower Saxony en route to Hamburg, with the chance to take a harbour cruise. Later, an orientation tour includes the inner Alster Lake. We dine in our hotel tonight. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

This morning we follow the Elbe valley and cross the former "Iron Curtain" to the historic city of Berlin. (Buffet breakfast)

Our sightseeing tour features highlights of both East and West including the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden Boulevard, the German State Opera House and the Reichstag Building. Later, time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 7 | Dresden | Berlin - Dresden :
Today we drive to Dresden - known as "Florence on the Elbe". On arrival our orientation includes the Opera House and Zwinger Palace. Later, why not take an optional tour to The Treasury and Schloss Moritzburg? (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

First to Modlareuth to visit the open-air museum. From here we continue to Bayreuth to see the Wagner Festival Theater, and on to Nuremberg with orientation on arrival, which will show us the mighty ramparts, bustling market place and St. Sebald's Cathedral. Tonight we enjoy a Highlight Dinner in a local restaurant. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

After breakfast we drive to the chocolate-box town of Rothenburg, where we enjoy a walking tour and our Tour Director reveals a special Hidden Treasure. Then time to shop before we drive to the lively Bavarian capital, Munich, where we see The Olympic Stadium, Ludwigstrasse and Marienplatz on arrival. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Today we enjoy a full day at leisure. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 11 | Donauschingen | Munich - Dachau - Donauschingen :
We drive to Dachau village where we visit the sinister concentration camp. From here our ascent into the Bavarian Alps brings us to view Neuschwanstein, Mad King Ludwig's fairytale cafestle, which is perched high above the village of Schwangau. Tonight, we dine at our hotel which is situated close to the Black Forest region. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

First to elegant Baden-Baden and on to the "Student Prince" city of Heidelberg with its dominant cafestle and courtyards. Tonight we enjoy a Farewell Dinner together in Frankfurt. (Buffet breakfast / Farewell dinner)
