Hotel: Copenhagen Marriott (2 nights) | | Day 3 | Copenhagen | Copenhagen sightseeing and at leisure : Our morning sightseeing tour includes a walking tour through the area around the Amalienborg Palace - an elegant quarter of 18th century buildings. Then we explore the historic center seeing the 17th century Stock Exchange, the Christiansborg Palace, the neo-classical cathedral and the 19th century Theater Royal - former home of the Opera. Guarding the harbour we'll see the Little Mermaid - the statue inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's sad fairytale. Our Tour Director will also show us a Hidden Treasure of the city. Later, maybe visit the Tivoli Gardens and enjoy a traditional Danish dinner? (Scandinavian breakfast) | | Day 4 | Aalborg | Copenhagen - Odense - Aalborg : After breakfast this morning, we head west and cross the bridge to the Island of Funen and the town of Odense, Hans Christian Andersen's birthplace. From here we will cross to the Jutland Peninsula en route to Aalborg, a charming mixture of old and new, for dinner and overnight stay. (Scandinavian breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: First Aalborg | | Day 5 | Stavanger | Aalborg - Stavanger : An early start as we head to Hirsthals where we board our ship to cross the Skagerrak to the port of Kristiansand in Norway. After we disembark we join our coach and drive via Mandal and Flekkefjord to Stavanger, one of Norway's oldest towns. (Scandinavian breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: Park Inn | | Day 6 | Bergen | Stavanger - Bergen (2 nights) : After breakfast we enjoy an amazing journey today as we island-hop from Stavanger to the capital of the Fjords, Bergen. On this coastal highway we cruise fjords and pass islands on this spectacular coastline. Later, we arrive in Bergen and experience the history of this picturesque city on our orientation tour. We will enjoy views of the 13th century Haakons Hall and the bustling fish market. (Scandinavian breakfast)

| | Day 8 | Sognefjord (Leikanger) | Bergen - Flam Railway - Sognefjord (Leikanger) : This morning we travel to the ski resort of Voss where we take a train for a journey that will take us 3,000 feet above sea level. Time at the top to admire the scenery before taking the famous Flam railway - one of the most exciting railway journeys in the world! We will enjoy spectacular views of mountains and waterfalls before crossing over the deep and magnificent waters of Sognefjord to our hotel in Leikanger. (Scandinavian breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: Sognefjord | | Day 9 | Geiranger | Sognefjord (Leikanger) - Geiranger (2 nights) : After breakfast, this morning's drive will take us along the spectacular Sognefjord. We continue onwards through breathtaking glacier country. We'll have wonderful views of the Geirangerfjord as we descend to Geiranger. (Scandinavian breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: Geiranger (2 nights) | | Day 10 | Geiranger | Geiranger at leisure : A full day to relax in the clear mountain air surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery, which has been granted World Heritage status by UNESCO. Later maybe take an excursion along the Trolls' Road and see the Seven Sisters waterfall! (Scandinavian breakfast / Dinner) | | Day 11 | Lillehammer | Geiranger - Lom - Lillehammer : Today the breathtaking views continue as we drive out of Geiranger. Then along Ottadalen we stop to visit the traditional Stave Church at Lom. From here we continue through the Gudbrandsdal Valley, inspiration for Ibsen's "Peer Gynt", to the home of the 1994 Winter Olympics, Lillehammer, where we spend the night. Before dinner at the hotel, why not take a walk along Storgata or perhaps visit the open-air museum at Maihaugan? (Scandinavian breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: Radisson SAS | | Day 12 | Oslo | Lillehammer - Hamar - Oslo : Our first highlight this morning is at lakeside Hamar. Here we view the unusual ice rink built for the Olympics before making our way to Norway's capital, Oslo. On our arrival a guided sightseeing tour highlights the medieval fortress of Akershus, the Royal Palace and a visit to the Vigeland Sculpture Park. After the rest of your day is at leisure. Maybe visit the Kon-Tiki raft and Viking ship museum or perhaps shop for sweaters and silverware? (Scandinavian breakfast)
Hotel: Scandic KNA | | Day 13 | Stockholm | Oslo - Stockholm (2 nights) : Today we travel across the border into Sweden. From here we will continue via Karlstad on Lake Vanern, and past the city of Orebro to the island-ringed capital, Stockholm for our two-night stay. Our Tour Director will show us another Hidden Treasure in this city of contrasts. (Scandinavian breakfast)
Hotel: Birger Jarl (2 nights) | | Day 14 | Stockholm | Stockholm sightseeing and at leisure : The charms of this city are revealed on our morning sightseeing tour with a local guide. We'll see the medieval Storkyrkan, Riddarholm church, the Royal Palace, plus a visit to the waterside City Hall where the Nobel Prize banquets are held. Later, there's time at leisure to browse through the fashionable stores or perhaps to visit Sweden's Versailles. Tonight, we join our fellow travelers and our Tour Director for a Farewell Dinner.
