Fly in by helicopter, then trek out to truly experience the breath-taking heart of the Southern Alps.

    Itinerary:

    Day 1 Arrive in Queenstown.2 Transfer with guides to Wanaka, Heli flight to Treble Cone, with panoramic views of the spectacular mountains. Camp at Blue Creek.3 Climb the ridge to Polnoon Burn, then meander through the valley amongst rugged alpine terrain.4 Easy walk along the river to Sharks Tooth hut. Enjoy spectacular views as we climb to the 'Rollercoaster' ridge (2029m), then onto the summit of Black Peak (2289m).5 Trek the ridgeline back to Treble Cone, stopping regularly to enjoy the amazing mountain and lake vistas. Transfer to Wanaka.6 Drive around Lake Wanaka to Diamond Lake, a landscape carved by ice age glaciers. From Diamond Lake viewing platform is the circuit to Rocky Mountain, with spectacular views over the Southern Alps.7 Trip finishes after breakfast in Queenstown.
