| Day 4 | London | London at leisure : A full day at leisure. Perhaps wander through Hyde Park, visit an exhibition in one of Kensington's museums or call in at Madame Tussauds. Or maybe take an excursion to Royal Windsor to visit Queen Elizabeth's famous cafestle. This evening, you may wish to attend one of London's top stage productions in the West End. |
| Day 5 | Bath | Bath excursion : Superb Georgian architecture is revealed on a visit to the spa town of Bath. Here sightseeing includes a tour of the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Then across Salisbury Plain to see the ancient monoliths at Stonehenge before returning to London past Runnymede, where King John sealed the Magna Carta in 1215. |
| Day 6 | Stratford-upon-Avon | Stratford-upon-Avon excursion : You'll enjoy a full day's sightseeing trip to William Shakespeare's hometown, Stratford-upon-Avon, with its half-timbered Elizabethan architecture and rich tradition as a place of literary pilgrimage. We will also visit his birthplace and Anne Hathaway's Cottage, a picturesque farmhouse in the nearby village of Shottery. |
| Day 7 | London | London at leisure : On your final day, why not visit the Victoria and Albert Museum or blend into the "in crowd" in Notting Hill with its many caf's and antique shops? Or take a river cruise along the Thames to the Tower of London and on to Greenwich, home of the Royal Maritime Museum and the Greenwich Meridian. Later, perhaps experience the unique atmosphere of one of London's many and varied pubs. |
