Work in Rural Australia

Do you want to explore all of Australia?  It's a big continent with many exotic faces, and it's waiting for you! Take advantage of a chance to live and work (hard!) in the rural parts of Australia.  Work on ranches, cattle/sheep stations, or farms deep in the Outback for an unforgettable experience that will teach you things you never dreamed, all while earning money! Cultural Embrace invites you to experience life in Australia. Live and work among the locals, as well as with young people from all around the world.

Depending on your previous experience, your English language skills, and your enthusiasm to jump in and do a job well, a variety of employment possibilities await you. Available placements include: ranch hand work, from mustering cattle and sheep on horseback or dirtbikes, tractor and backhoe work, to au pair/childcare, domestic help and rural hospitality work.

Salary and benefits vary with each position. On average, you will be working 8-10 hours per day and receive ~AUD$250-350 (US$165-230) per week. Room and board is included in the vast majority of placements. If your accommodations are not included, we will help you arrange accommodations.

Keep in mind that you are eligible for the Work and Holiday or Working Holiday Visa once in your life, so take advantage of it! We offer you an adventure with a peach of mind. Prior to departure, you will communicate closely with our staff from the Austin office, and then once you step foot outside of Brisbane's customs hall you will be in great hands with our local partners. Our team will be there to meet and greet you at the airport and take you to a hostel, with three nights at Rainbow Beach for you to experience Australia and recover from jet lag.   After your orientation and week-long training, you will be placed in a job that meets your preferences, experience, and your level of motivation! A bank account with an ATM card, tax file number, and visa paperwork assistance are all organized for participants.
