During lunch, you will cruise to Titop Island, where you can swim, relax on the beach or climb the stops to the top of the mountain to be greeted with some spectacular views. Then it's on to the Bat Cave area, where you can take an optional kayaking tour, or go by tender to the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. The ship will drop anchor at Luon Bo, where you will have dinner and overnight. In the evening, choose from film entertainment, massage services or a squid fishing trip (at additional cost). There is also a 'Happy Hour' at the bar from 9 till 11 in the evening. | | Day 2 | Halong Bay | Early this morning there is the chance to join the Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck. Then there will be time for a pre-breakfast snack and drink before you transfer to a small private boat for your trip to Ho Ba Ham, or 'Three Cellar Caves', comprising three wide pits, linked by a narrow, meandering tunnel. Admire the stalactites hanging from the ceiling in a myriad of colours as you row through the caves. After lunch there is the chance to swim or hunt for beautiful shells on Ba Trai Dao, or 'Three Peaches Beach'. You return to your ship in the afternoon and continue to Luon Cave, a grotto encompassing a tranquil lake surrounded by trees where monkeys may be seen playing. This evening there is a deluxe barbecue and buffet or a set dinner in the dining room, and evening activities will be available. | | Day 3 | Halong Bay | Tai Chi on deck starts at 7am this morning. Then there will be coffee, tea and pastries in the dining room as you sail to Surprise Cave. Here you will transfer by tender to the steps at the base of the cave. There are approximately 100 steps to mount before you enter the cave for your tour. Then it is back to the boat for breakfast. Relax on the sundeck and enjoy the stunning bay scenery as you travel back to Halong Pier. |
