The northernmost province of Thailand, Chiang Rai is situated on the Kok River basin, 416 metres above sea level. Mostly mountainous, it reaches the Mekong River to the north and borders on both Myanmar and Laos. The province is rich of natural attractions and antiquities, evidence of its past civilization.     Day 2Chiang RaiChiang Rai,B,L,: After enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, you will take a full day excursion to the Golden Triangle. First you will visit the Doi Tung Hilltribe Project in the northwestern hills of Chiang Rai province. Stop at the bridge which crosses the frontier to Burma. Continue to Mae Sai. Then continue to Mae Sai. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue driving along the Mekong River to Chiang Saen. Return to your hotel.
    Day 3Chiang RaiDepart Chiang Rai,B,: Breakfast at hotel. Transfer from your hotel to Chiang Rai Airport.
