Itinerary:

Day 1 Arrive Hobart and transfer to Base Camp, our secluded bush retreat where we prepare for our trekking adventure.2 Trek starts at the natural attractions of Tasman Arch and the Devils Kitchen, past views of Waterfall Bay, along dolerite cliffs to Fortescue Bay. 3 Trek coastal shore to Cape Hauy, viewing spectacular cliffs and rock formations, before climbing through eucalypt and fern forests to Munro Bight.4 Trekking into wilderness towards Tornado Ridge, and on to Cape Pillar. 5 Spectacular coastal views from Cape Pillar, and across to Tasman Island, before we trek back to Fortescue Bay. Return to Base Camp for a final group dinner. 6 Trip ends in Hobart after breakfast.
Included: Wilderness trek leader, all group camping equipment including backpack, tents, sleeping bags and mats, transport and National Park fees.
Not Included: Flights, departure taxes, visas, travel insurance, other meals, drinks, optional activities, tips and items of a personal nature.

Notes: Arrival You will be collected from the Old Woolstore Hotel at 2.30pm on day 1 of the tour, for pick up and transfer to Base Camp Tasmania. The airport is approximately 20 minutes drive from the city and it is possible to catch a taxi into town. The fare will be around A$35. The Airporter Bus meets all flights and drops travellers off in central Hobart. This fare for this service is about A$12. You will be transfered to Base Camp Tasmania approx. 1 hour from Hobart. Here you will meet your fellow travellers, have a evening trek briefing and sort out trekking gear for the next 4 days.
